Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia takes place from October 19 until the 23rd, in a ‘phygital’ form, just like Paris, Milan, London and New York did. This edition will therefore be totally different from last year’s event. Despite the disappointment about not showing as usual, Fashion Week Russia’s team worked hard to make the most out of the current situation. And hard work pays off, as MBFW Russia schedule unites livestream shows from different cities and countries.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia

Fashion Week Russia will take place at 8 Moscow-based venues simultaneously. Shows from the capital will be topped up with livestreams from four Russian cities. Around sixty (!) designers will showcase their latest collections and all shows and presentations will be streamed on this page (check out the section below).

The organization decided to move this season’s shows from Manege to independent venues with a focus on livestreams, due to current circumstances in the capital city. “Our objective is to prevent crowding and comply with every letter of the sanitary guidelines introduced because of the coronavirus infection spreading. Today, safety of our participants and guests is our number one priority. At some venues, we’re going to manage the process so not to change the spirit and efficiency of the event by the glove-mask mode,” says Alexander Shumsky, President of Russian Fashion Council and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

And that’s not all. Shumsky and his team became very creative and ignored boundaries for this year’s event. Shunky continues: “The new COVID reality in 2020 offered us an unprecedented opportunity to experiment with the Fashion week format. MBFW Russia is going to become the first fashion week to livestream the shows from 6 locations throughout the globe.” Getting curious? Follow every livestream show and presentation below.
