Copenhagen Fashion Week is on a roll. Not only have we witnessed timeless classics and new trends on the catwalk – its off-duty counterpart might be a better predictor of future trends. The biggest Copenhagen Fashion Week street style trend? That must be yellow – or at least, wearing bold and bright colors. Yellow may have been the dominating color, with hints of Bottega-green here and there, but it’s not only Tweety we’re drawing inspiration from. Timeless classics again prove to be the best wardrobe staple, even though less bold and daring. Based on what we’ve seen on the streets, we’ve listed the best Copenhagen Fashion Week street style trends below.

Fighting against the elements, the Copenhagen Fashion Week crowd arrived at the Gestuz presentation. For this occasion, there could only be one suitable trend: over-the-top puffer coats.

2. Cargo pants

If Pernille Teisbaek, Emili Sindlev, and many, many others wear it, we know for sure that this trend will be huge. Likewise, cargo pants were also part of many collections, as seen at Gestuz and Rabens Saloner.

3. Headturning accessories

Grece Ghanem knows how to pull off the right accessories. With a bubblegum pink fluffy clutch and slightly mismatching Acne Studios scarf, she does the trick right. On the other end of the spectrum, perfectly matching accessories were a big hit as well – here spotted with a full Prada look.

4. Muted hues

Besides the pops of color, muted hues of beige and green remain one of the biggest street style trends as well. Slightly mismatched ton-sur-ton for the win.

5. Ode to Jacky Kennedy

The everlasting appeal of Jacky Kennedy proves itself to be more alive than ever. Perhaps because of the stormy weather, perhaps because it’s just fashion, the silk headscarf is huge.

6. The headband

Only a street style icon like Emili Sindlev can pull off a look like this; we expect the (Chanel!) headband to be big this year; definitely one of the most important street style trends of 2022.
