Jonathan Anderson understands what we need like no other. It’s like an invention you didn’t know you could live without. With the Loewe SS21 collection, Anderson brought back joy. And although we already knew we could use some joy these days, we didn’t know a new wardrobe would be able to do the trick. Discover the best looks below.

Loewe SS21 – Show-on-the-Wall
Since showing his collection physically didn’t feel right, Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson felt the desire to find new formats of communication, responding to time we live in and the uncertainties we face in daily life. “Possibilities are endless, as long as the problem of showing fashion without a physical show is solved creatively.”
The show on the wall features a collaboration with artist Anthea Hamilton and was delivered to the show’s ‘attendees’ in the form of a giant portfolio, full of posters and even wallpaper to create a true Loewe experience at home. The incredible and diverse cast is worth mentioning too. It represents a vast cross section of ages, gender and body types: artists, friends of the house, faces who have been featured across the years in shows or campaigns and that, as such, are part of the Loewe family.
Designs
The designs are Jonathan Anderson’s interpretation of escapism, putting the pleasure of playing with fashion for the fore. Immense flaps, balloon sleeves and skirts, crinolines, neckerchief hems, hoops: everything just feels at place in this collection. It’s a sense of elongation. Once again, Anderson nailed it.
