PARIS HAUTE COUTURE WEEK SCHEDULE FALL/WINTER 2025
Schiaparelli kicks things off, as always, with Daniel Roseberry’s signature blend of surrealism and red carpet-worthy creations. Chanel will show a couture collection by its design studio for the final time; Matthieu Blazy’s first creations will be shown in October. Furthermore, heavy-hitters like Dior and Jean Paul Gaultier refrain from showing this season, which makes for a soft landing for their newly appointed creative directors.
Maison Margiela closes the week, and for the first time in years, it won’t be under the vision of John Galliano. Instead, Glenn Martens—the mind behind Diesel’s recent reinvention and Y/Project’s architectural aesthetic—is stepping in as creative director. The house told WWD, “This marks the beginning of an inspiring new chapter… Under Glenn’s direction, couture will continue to ignite creativity for the brand and drive boundary-pushing designs.” Martens has big shoes to fill, but if anyone understands the art of couture at Maison Margiela, it’s him.
