Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski centered the female-gaze point of view in her Hermès fall 2022 collection. Of course, she did it entirely in her own way.

Hermès fall 2022
Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski brings sexy back in her own way with the Hermès fall 2022 show. Creating a collection that has to be ‘an expression of what occurs today’, beyond the equestrian, she shows how sex and femininity are concepts not to be ashamed of. Female shapes and forms made themselves clear through short jumpsuits, body-hugging fits, and playful geometry. With these designs, Vanhee-Cybulski wanted to ‘stretch the legs’, as she explained. It felt like an antidote to this time’s most popular shoe: Bottega Veneta’s rough Tire Boot.
Despite the newness, Vanhee-Cybulski also designed with her most loyal customers in mind. The leather coats were exquisite, like always. After all, Hermès fall 2022 shows a new direction for the house, without losing its signature style. We’re curious whether this new take on sexiness will make it to the end of the year.
