TALENT TO HAVE ON YOUR RADAR SPOTTED AT COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK FALL/WINTER 2025

Like London, Berlin, and Amsterdam, Copenhagen Fashion Week is the ideal place to spot emerging fashion talent. Setting new standards for a sustainable future paves the way for a more durable fashion system. Looking at the past week, these are the Copenhagen Fashion Week talents to have on your radar. ZALANDO VISIONARY AWARD

For years, CPHFW’s primary sponsor, Zalando, again organized the Visionary Award. Winner IAMISIGO, known for her remarkable ways of combining cultural heritage with the latest textile innovations, stood out by looks and her intense way of crafting a future-proof story that makes total sense. The Nigerian fashion house will be part of next season’s official Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule to improve the fashion industry.

IAMISIGO wasn’t the only talent to have on your fashion radar. This season, Cmmn Swdn entered womenswear with a substantial debut collection. Sleek suiting, hints of the seventies, furry hats, and glittery details set them apart.

FASHION TALENT SCOUTED AT COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK

Bonnetje stood out with a new take on office attire, wholly crafted from deadstock materials and reworked vintage suits. She operates on the crossroads of business and party, or, as she refers to herself, “Business in the front, party in the back.” Her references to the abandoned office building where her brand is located were apparent. Skirts inspired by vintage curtains formed a playful translation of the here and now.

Caro Editions showed up for the second time. After last season’s parking space show, this time, she took the fashion week crowds inside. The collection was original and playful, styled with the creative director’s shoe collection of vintage Chanel, among other classics.

Aiayu made a case for new ways of layering. Investing in multiple sweaters in matching colorways seems the way to go for the season ahead. The outfits were complemented with classic chinos, trench coats, and other timeless items. Stel’s Astrid Andersen showed a refreshing modular style centered around influential, interchangeable, and essential items of exceptional quality. The clothes were multi-layered, introducing – just like Aiayu – new ways of dressing, all weather-proof.

Forza Collective opted for pops of color and a more mature way of dressing from previous seasons. For the third time showing during Copenhagen Fashion Week, Kristoffer Kongshaug chose a more versatile approach to his material selection. Adding denim, suits, and leather to his palette worked impressively well, especially when combined with a pop of color.

Looking back on the past week, one thing becomes clear: Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London Fashion Week remain the best weeks to spot emerging fashion talent that is set to dominate the fashion industry sooner or later.
