As expected, footwear and sleepwear pieces are meticulously crafted from premium materials, adorned with Birkenstock’s iconic silhouettes, and infused with Tekla’s unique approach to color, creating an aesthetic that appears as if it has been gracefully “dipped in color.”
“There is a natural synergy between BIRKENSTOCK and Tekla, with quality and craftsmanship central to
our work,” explains Christoffer Lundman, creative lead at TEKLA. “We wanted to explore this further with a collection that looks at the idea of rest as a form of inspiration.” The footwear in this collection embraces a calming palette, featuring both understated and vivid block colors sourced from the enchanting Tekla color universe. Immerse yourself in monochromatic bliss with four captivating hues: Slate, Straw, Mauve, and Powder. For an added touch of indulgence, Birkenstock’s distinctive cork footbed is ensconced in fluffy shearling, ensuring unparalleled comfort with every step. “BIRKENSTOCK’s reputation for functional and quality footwear and Tekla’s mastery in creating distinct and comfortable sleepwear unite,” says Klaus Baumann, Managing Director at Birkenstock 1774. “By combining our expertise, we deliver a unique collection that looks great and embodies the feeling of home. The sleepwear collection includes an oversized kaftan with elevated details: an elongated long-sleeved shirt with a straight hem, buttoned cuffs, and a stand collar, and pants and shorts with a single leg pleat for extra volume. All sleepwear is cut in an oversized, unisex fit from TEKLA’s crisp and lightweight cotton poplin that feels gentle.
